This track will help both consumers and dealers understand the Medicare/Medicaid system. Consumers will learn about Medicare coverage, including eligibility for people with a disability, plan options, and Medicare prescription drug coverage including extra help available to pay for their prescription drugs. NHS Human Services in Pennsylvania has created “autism schools” to set a new standard for integrating the best of behavioral health and educational service delivery models to meet the varied needs of students with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). PA Housing Finance Workshop Presented by PHFA
Your Home – Where Independence Starts. The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) has several programs that can be of assistance to people with disabilities as they look for homes to make their own or ways to make their current home accessible. The presenters are also aware of programs outside of PHFA that they will discuss in this one hour presentation. Topics will include: What your housing options are. Our best effort to describe the array of housing available in PA for your consideration, whether renting is your interest or home ownership. Who you can talk to. An introduction to the professionals who may be able to help you meet your housing goals. How to pay for home modifications.
